Discussion will include Trends in Industries and Chemicals of Concern, Recent Developments in Contaminated Site Closure Methods and Recent Policies and Regulatory Developments. Additional information will be presented about DTSC’s other activities, including the Safer Consumer Products legislation, reforming of the Hazardous Waste Management Program, and initiatives to improve the Department’s cost recovery, manifest system, and enforcement.
